Spencer and Lance
Spencer is known thruout the Charlotte area bicycle community and well beyond as the founder and president of the 24 Hours of Booty, which along with the MS-150, is the top annual charity ride in the metro area.
Begun in 2002 as a solo event, Spencer raised $6000. This year the event attracted 1200 individuals and teams and surpassed the record-breaking million dollar mark. Proceeds go primarily to the Lance Armstrong Cancer Foundation and secondarily to local cancer agencies. Spencer has agreed to serve on CABA’s Board of Advisors and has lots of creative ideas in support of the CABA mission.
