We did it !
With votes counted from 117 of the city’s 168 precincts, each of the issues was comfortably ahead. Voters were deciding on three issues with a total cost of $203.6 million.Voters were asked to approve $156.6 million for road and intersection improvements, and for related projects. The work will be spread across much of the city.The referendum was supported by 63 percent of the voters, with 37 percent opposed.”
This means doubling the bike budget ! The total package includes: $3 million/ traffic calming (like East Blvd.); $15 million / 29 miles of sidewalks; $2 million pedestrian and traffic safety; and $2 million for bicycling.
