CABA “valet service” ….succeeds
Yes, people are catching onto this concept where we park your bike and guard it while you bring art into your life. That is what CABA did all day Saturday while almost 10,000 folks strolled or biked to this once in a lifetime event. And we filled our racks (with a bit of overflow in the afternoon) and had some great conversations with a variety of cyclists and non-cyclists alike. Thanks to Cheryl Palmer and Dean Jordan of the Mint who graciously approved the idea and gave us an el primo spot at the key entry to the Mint Plaza. Thanks also to Matt Parker, Keith Sorensen, Daniel Bennett, Janice Weigl, Mark Sussman, Andrew Israel, Dick Winters and Andrew Street for volunteering. Special thanks to Jeff Viscount for delivering the custom designed racks and the tent structure.
