Making (some) progress in Charlotte

walkObserver Editor Mary Newsom had a great column in last Saturday’s paper. (With police assistance because there is no cross walk or pedestrian light at Rea Road and crossing guards are a mere relic of the past) about 30 kids walked to Olde Providence Elementary school. Maybe next year there will be bicyclists too .
